Hello all! My holiday hiatus has officially begun. I don’t plan on blogging for the next three weeks or so while my hubs and I galavant through England, Scotland, and Ireland. I will miss you all, but I am hoping we can stay connected through social media while I’m gone. I think my favorite thing about travel is that you come away with experiences and stories that stick with you for the rest of your life. There’s little else I can think of that has that type of long term return on investment!
I’m going to be sharing snapshots and stories as we wander along and I’d love if you’d join me on our adventure on Instagram. If not, I’ll have plenty to share with you here when we get back. I look forward to reconnecting with you then!
My goal was to have the third installment of the Body Image Project up for you guys before I left. Alas, that did not happen. My brain went on holiday even before my body actually left! Rest assured, I’ll be continuing that series when I return and look forward to connecting with more of you to figure out how we can individually and collectively improve how we view ourselves and our bodies.
I’m so grateful for the privilege to travel, especially at a time when so many are displaced and unable to find a safe and welcoming corner to call home. I’ll be sure to carry this perspective with me as I explore each new culture and introduce myself to people with different traditions, ideas, and views. The world is BIG–but not too big I think to be embraced.
Thanks so much for following my blog and being a part of my life. I sincerely enjoy and appreciate every interaction and learn so much from all the relationships I’ve been fortunate enough to cultivate through this space. Enjoy the summer all.
Cheerio mates! x
