Hello! Thanks so much for stopping by, so happy to have you here.

I am going through some big changes! I’ve become a life coach and am currently working on transitioning this site to one where that practice and my writing can evolve harmoniously. I can’t tell you how much I’ve appreciated having you along for the journey up to this point. I hope you will join me on the new site as well once I get my shit together!

For now, please look around here and enjoy the plethora of content I have worked so hard to produce over the past couple years. If you like your running, yoga, travel, or food, mixed up and rolled out as life lessons, I am your girl. ❤

You can also find me on Instagram where I am working hard to curate snapshots and stories that connect to people in the same way I tried to here. It’s a shorter form but my honesty, heart, and wit are all still there. Please check it out.

If you’re interested in coaching–that makes me so freakin’ excited! I’ve learned so much and am anxious to utilize my training and my personal experience to help others help themselves. If you’d like to find out more about what coaching is all about and what we might be able to accomplish together, please click the link below.

So as you see my friends, I’m still figuring it all out. But to borrow a line from one of the women I most admire–Here’s what I know for sure…

I’m not always sure of my destination, or what I’m supposed to do when I get there, but I try to put one foot in front of the other–each day–and at the end, I reflect upon where that’s taken me.

My dreams sometimes change because as I move through life, I realize the plan the Universe has for me is far beyond what I am able to imagine for myself.

Running has given me the heart of a warrior.

Yoga is my lifelong journey.

Travel is my soul-feeding teacher.

Food might be my favorite thing.

I will always write.

I live in Brooklyn, NY, and I’m married to my favorite person in the world.

  1. Inspiring blog and having spent the afternoon wandering through it I want to be you when I grow up! I have dabbled with running but life has been unpredicatable and turbulent for the last 12 months. As I move into a new phase, settled and secure for the forseeable future I am finding myself drawn to many of the same things as you, and I am looking to make the initial steps to shift and grow. Thank you for helping me believe it is possible x

    1. Aww thank you so much! Although if someone is saying they want to be me when they grow up then I think it’s official–I’M OLD! Lol. Really very flattered though and grateful for your comment and for you taking the time to peruse my blog.
When I hear you say “make the initial steps”, I know you are on the right track. I think anything is possible if we just do the next right thing. Sometimes we glide along, sometimes we trudge–I think the point is to keep it moving. (note: sometimes keeping it moving means learning to stand still for a minute 😉 ). So much good luck to you! Please don’t be a stranger, so happy to have you here. x

  2. I am so happy that I found your blog. You are such an inspiring person. I’ve been running for a couple of years and only just started practicing yoga, but they are already such an important part of my life. I never would have thought that I would complete a marathon, but I managed to hobble to the finish line last year in Chicago. I’m really enjoying reading about your experiences as a runner and ED survivor. I was never diagnosed with an ED, but I’ve definitely lived with disordered eating habits almost my whole life. I can’t wait to read all of your posts! Xoxo ,

    1. Michele!! I am SO happy you found me! Running and yoga–if you’ve looked around here I am sure you can see that those are two of my favorite things as well. I love connecting with people that also feel like those things are so important in their life. That is SO amazing you did your first marathon last year. I love Chicago, I lived there for about 6 years and still visit almost every year. Are you a one and done (like i think i will be!) or are you going to do another sometime?
Thank you for reading my post about eating disorders, I tend to touch on that subject a lot here because it’s been a really big part of my life. And you know, a diagnosis doesn’t mean much–if you struggle with eating, you know what it’s all about! I hope you are able to connect with people who have gone through the same so maybe those habits can improve. I know I am thrilled to have you here!!
      Thanks Michele! x
